Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking a travel-focused engineer to support data center startups and automation projects across North America.

You will perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks and lead startup and testing activities for warehouse and manufacturing systems. Collaborating with automation engineers, you will test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site, while delivering clear updates to customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Must love travel and be ready for away-from-home rotations.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and basic programming.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate on-site systems.
• Provide clear progress updates to customers and project teams.
• Travel rotations follow 5 on-2 off, 10 on-4 off, or 14 on-7 off schedules.
