ProAutomated Inc. is recruiting for a field automation specialist who thrives on travel and hands-on problem solving.

This role keeps automation projects moving by supporting data-center startups, performing on-site checks, and collaborating with engineers across North America. There is no fixed office; you’ll rotate on a schedule such as 5 on–2 off, 10 on–4 off, or 14 on–7 off, and you’ll receive a starting salary in the 60k–75k range plus per diem and mileage reimbursement, with opportunities

Qualifikationen

• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Aufgaben

• Support data center startups with on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Travel rotations follow a 5 on - 2 off, 10 on - 4 off, or 14 on - 7 off schedule.
