Job summary

ProAutomated Inc. is seeking curious, adaptable technicians for a travel-heavy role across North America. You’ll perform mechanical, electrical, and control checks on-site, collaborating with automation engineers to ensure systems work when it matters most.

We offer four-week paid training, a competitive starting salary, per diem, mileage reimbursement, and growth through merit raises and a 5% raise after six months. Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Four-week paid training to prepare field technicians.
• Basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and networking.
• Must live within 50 miles of a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups, performing on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Partner with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate on-site systems.
• Provide clear communication and updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth and accurate.
• Travel rotations follow a days on-off schedule: 5/2, 10/4, or 14/7; each project brings new challenges.
