Job summary

MULTIVAC is seeking Traveling Field Technicians to service packaging and processing machinery at customer facilities across multiple states. The role requires troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, performing installations, and delivering hands-on training to customers.

Travel is extensive, with overnight stays and flexible scheduling including some weekends. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in high-stress environments and adhering to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Traveling Field Service Technicians use technical drawings, electromechanical knowledge, and complex problem-solving skills to maintain, service, and repair large, high-powered packaging and processing machinery.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work well under high stress in customer environments.
• Willing to travel with little notice and maintain a flexible schedule, including some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot or install complex, customized packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities; repair to specifications with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic systems.
• Conduct training for customers on safe operation, maintenance, and parts ordering; provide contact information for service.
• Complete service documentation of repairs and submit trip expenses within 24 hours; submit weekly time sheets and expenses.
