Job summary

AMAROK is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades at customer sites with overnight travel within a 150–250 mile radius. This role supports nationwide service and requires a proactive, customer‑facing approach.

You will collaborate with the Install Department, manage service calls, and train customers while maintaining detailed service reports. Enjoy tuition reimbursement, a company vehicle, and highly competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Available to travel Monday–Friday weekly.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing systems (access control and/or fire alarms a plus).
• OSHA certification and/or familiarity with OSHA compliance preferred.
• Able to lift heavy objects and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• Experience with power equipment such as aerial lifts, jack hammers, augers, mixers.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades at customer sites.
• Assist Install Department with site planning, inspections, and system commissioning.
• Organize daily service calls and routes for timely completion.
• Build strong relationships with customers through training and support.
• Provide assistance to other Field Service Technicians when needed.
• Drive safely and comply with traffic laws to reach sites.
• Monitor inventory levels and complete service reports and documentation.
• Track and submit expense reports per company policy.
