Job summary

AMAROK is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on perimeter security systems. The role requires Monday–Friday travel within a 150–250 mile radius and involves driving a company vehicle to customer sites across the country.

Qualifications

• Must be available to travel Monday–Friday weekly.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• At least 2+ years hands-on experience troubleshooting and installing security systems.
• OSHA certification and/or familiarity preferred.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
• Able to operate power equipment including aerial lifts and saws.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for system configurations.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades at customer sites.
• Assist Install Department with site planning, inspections, and commissioning after construction.
• Plan daily service routes and ensure timely completion of work.
• Build strong relationships with customers through service, training, and support.
• Support fellow field technicians and comply with safety and reporting procedures.
• Travel safely to service locations and submit reports and expenses on time.
