Job summary

Invenergy in Texas is seeking a Field Service Technician – 100% Travel (Rotational Position) to perform major component replacements and repairs across the fleet, with four weeks away and one week home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years technical experience in renewable energy or related fields.
• Experience across multiple platforms preferred.
• Proficient with software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work outdoors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather; climb ladders; lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to work at heights above 80 meters.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance, and ops support.
• Lead teams in major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical and mechanical functions of equipment.
• Perform site inspections and compile reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Ensure all activities follow Invenergy safety policies.
