Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician—100% travel—to perform major component replacements and repairs across the Invenergy fleet. You will ensure safety-first operations per policy and train site personnel in safety and maintenance practices.

Expect four-week travel intervals away from home, followed by a week at home. Must be in one of the allowed states and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• One year technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.)
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Abilities to work outdoors in inclement weather and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Work at heights greater than 80 meters (250 feet)

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy with internal and external parties
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in multiple equipment platforms
• Train site personnel in safety, maintenance and ops support
• Lead teams for major component replacements and repairs
• Document inspections and compile reports
