Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform major component replacements and repairs across the fleet, ensuring safe operations in line with Invenergy policies. Travel involves 4-week intervals away from home, returning for a week off.

Candidates must be located in Texas and able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, training site personnel, and completing reports.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.
• Experience in multiple platforms strongly preferred.
• Ability to effectively use software systems to troubleshoot issues.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders, and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across multiple equipment platforms.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs.
• Train site personnel on safety, maintenance, and Ops Support System.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting; write and revise procedures for component replacements.
