Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform and train on major component replacements and repair services across the fleet. You may travel away from home for 4-week intervals with a week at home, supporting safety and maintenance policies.

The position requires year of technical experience, a HS diploma, and the ability to work outdoors in varied weather. Must live in one of the listed states including Texas.

Qualifications

• One year technical experience or technical education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather, climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults on multiple equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System.
• Lead teams to perform major component replacements and repairs on multiple equipment platforms.
• Troubleshoot complicated electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic problems.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms.
• Perform equipment and site inspections and compile associated reports.
• Complete daily and monthly reporting requirements.
• Write and revise procedures for component replacements.
• Assure all activities are performed in a safe manner per Invenergy policies.
