Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a Merchandiser to drive sales and provide high-quality merchandising at assigned customer locations, primarily in Bozeman, MT. The role involves stocking shelves, executing resets, and supporting coverage programs with travel as needed.

The position requires customer service excellence, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with Sales and Category Management teams. Onsite work and travel are expected.

Responsibilities

• Influence customer orders by identifying sales opportunities and recommending item discontinuations; place orders and merchandise products.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and projects; execute customer-specific plans.
• Rotate stock, remove out-of-code items, and process returns per policy.
• Communicate with UNFI personnel on activity and needs; follow up on issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors or managers to develop action plans and meet deadlines.
