Wellstar Health System is hiring a Travel RN for the Emergency Department on the night shift. This 13-week surge-season assignment (Oct-March) requires working 36 hours per week with no guaranteed hours or benefits. Previous travel experience is preferred, and PRN opportunities exist outside surge.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, adherence to professional practice standards, and safe, high-quality patient care within the WellStar governance framework.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (RN)
• BSN preferred for advancement or stability
• RN licensure required with current state credentials
• BLS certification required; PALS/TNCC/ACLS may be required per unit

Responsabilités

• Perform the nursing process with evidence-based practice to deliver individualized patient care.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and ensure culturally appropriate service.
• Document timely and accurately; promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Participate in shared governance and performance improvement activities.
• Mentor and support junior staff and students; engage in professional development.
