Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Sanford, NC. You will deliver rapid-response, high-quality care in a busy ED, triage patients, administer life-saving treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity.
• Explain emergency procedures to patients and families; administer medications per protocol.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety; document conditions and interventions in EMR.
• Initiate patient education plans; collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff.
