ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ED in Sanford, North Carolina. This 13-week assignment requires a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per week, with weekend and some holiday requirements. The candidate should have 2+ years in emergency nursing, an active RN license, and ACLS/BLS plus PALS or similar de-escalation training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience.
• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and de-escalation training.
• Shift: 12 hours, nights; 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, documenting patient responses and care provided.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
• Support basic telemetry/EKG monitoring and respond to critical situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
