Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Albemarle, NC. You’ll deliver rapid-response emergency care, triage, and life-saving treatments while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and paramedics in a fast-paced ED.

The position is a 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Start date is 10/19/2026, with a travel-friendly work environment and support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certification.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED.
• Document nursing assessments and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
