Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Willimantic, CT. This role offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour evenings, providing high-intensity care in a fast-paced ED environment.
The ideal candidate has 1 year of ER RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Travel compensation includes comprehensive benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as an ER RN.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival based on severity.
- Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
- Monitor patient conditions and document changes in EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to hospital safety and infection control guidelines.
