Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED for a travel assignment in Hartford, CT. The ER RN will deliver rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced ED, triage patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians and support staff during a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

The role requires 1 year ER RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS (or ENPC).

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience.
• Current RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments per ER protocols.
• Assist physicians during emergency treatments and exams.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in ED.
• Document nursing assessments and outcomes in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
