Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in New Britain, Connecticut.

Requirements include one year ER RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC/NIHSS/NRP are preferred.
Qualifications
- One year of recent ER RN experience.
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).
- Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care by severity.
- Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments per approved emergency nursing protocols.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort; document conditions and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document nursing assessments and interventions in EMR.
