Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks an ER Travel Nurse (RN) for a Norwich, CT assignment. The role features a 13-week duration with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a travel employment type in a busy ED setting. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience and holds ACLS and BLS certifications.

Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment. The ER RN will assess and triage patients, document medical history, and provide bedside care, IV therapy, and wound care

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certificates required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage, and implement care in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Document medical history, monitor vital signs, and assess patient needs.
• Provide bedside care, wound care, and IV therapy as needed.
• Communicate with patients and families and coordinate with care teams.
