Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Hartford, CT. You will provide rapid, high-quality care in a busy ED, triaging patients, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include 1 year ER RN experience, current CT RN license, and active BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC. Travel benefits available, with 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapid triage and assessment of patients on arrival
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergencies
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in ED
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope
• Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment
• Respond to life-saving situations per standards and protocols
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Educate patients per individualized needs in acute care
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, paramedics, social workers and staff
• Adhere to safety, infection control and regulatory standards
