Job summary

NurseStar Medical Partners LLC is seeking an Emergency Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Iowa, starting ASAP. Schedule includes 3x12 night shifts (7pm–7am) with guaranteed hours and a weekly gross pay of $1,800–$2,000.

Qualified candidates hold ACLS and a Compact RN license, thrive in emergent situations, and coordinate with EMS and hospital teams, documenting in Epic to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency department or prehospital settings.
• Ability to manage high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and EMS.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan emergent patient care.
• Respond to emergent and critical patient situations.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Collaborate with EMS and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Complete clinical documentation in Epic.

Pay Rate:$1,800-$2,000 Gross every week

Number of Positions: 1

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length:13 weeks

EMR: Epic

Schedule:

• 3×12 hour night shifts guaranteed
• 7pm-7am night shifts
• Sporadic PRN shifts when needed for other days

Additional Details:

• Typically 2-5 calls/day
• Can vary and be higher, had 10 yesterday but that’s uncommon
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care for patients of all ages
• Respond effectively to emergent and critical patient situations
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment interventions
• Collaborate with EMS personnel and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Complete required clinical documentation
• Participate in ambulance response, patient transfers, and prehospital care activities
• Maintain emergency department and ambulance equipment readiness
• Promote a positive patient and family experience through exceptional customer service and communication
