American Traveler seeks a Pediatric Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of pediatric imaging experience for a pediatric hospital setting in Columbus, OH. The role covers the main campus and nearby locations, with a 1:7 patient ratio and no travel between sites on the same day.

The position offers a Monday–Friday day shift (8:00 AM–4:30 PM). ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification is required; RDCS PE or RDCS preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years pediatric echo experience.
• ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification required.
• RDCS PE or RDCS certification required; AE/FE preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• License required if applicable.
• Pediatric outpatient work setting experience required.
• Knowledge of Isolation Precautions/PPE required.

Responsibilities

• Pediatric echo tech covering main campus and nearby locations.
• No travel between locations on the same day; full day at one site.
• Patient ratio of 1:7.
• Monday to Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8).
• No call, holiday, or weekend coverage required.
• Floating to different units as needed.
• Operate Siemens and GE/Philips equipment.
• Must not have worked permanently at this facility in last 2 years.
• 60-mile radius rule applies to local allied candidates; RN roles exclude locals.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
• Two references required, at least one from a manager.

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years experience and ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification for a pediatric hospital setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification required
• ARDMS RDCS PE or RDCS certification required; RDCS AE and RDCS FE preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Skills required include Pediatric Echo, 2-D Echo, Color Doppler, Continuous Wave Doppler, Pulsed Wave Doppler, Routine and Portable Studies
• Experience scanning complex anomalies and post-surgical repairs preferred
• Experience with pediatric anomalies including Coarctation of the Aorta, Pulmonary Venous Return Anomalies, Tetralogy of Fallot, Transposition of the Great Vessels, and Tricuspid/Pulmonary Atresia required
• Experience with Aortic Arch Abnormalities/Vascular Ring, Coronary Artery Anomalies, Double Outlet Ventricle, Hypoplastic Heart Syndrome, and Bubble Studies preferred
• Fetal Echocardiography and ICU experience preferred
• Pediatric Outpatient work setting experience required
• Knowledge of Isolation Precautions/PPE required

• Monday to Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8 hours)

• Candidates must not have worked in a permanent position at this facility within the last 2 years
