Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a travel assignment in Florence, SC. You will perform echocardiograms for adult patients in an acute care setting on a 4x10 schedule with on-call weekends and holidays.

Requirements include at least 1 year of Echo Tech experience, BLS, ARDMS RDCS or CCI registration, and license if applicable. Epic EMR experience and a radiaton badge provided by the agency are required.

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care setting.
• Daily caseload of 10-12 echo studies per tech.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekends/holidays.
• On-call at least one weekend per month and 1–3 days per week depending on status.
• Respond to call within 30 minutes and report to facility.
• Uses Philips equipment and Epic charting system.
• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac sonography for adults.

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience for a 4x10 day shift assignment that includes on-call and weekend requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Echo Tech
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) registration required
• License required if applicable
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency, not facility)
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care setting
• Daily caseload of 10-12 echo studies per tech
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays
• On-call requirement of at least one weekend per month and 1-3 days per week depending on weekend on-call status
• Must be able to respond to call and arrive at the facility within 30 minutes
• No floating between service lines or to sister facilities
• Uses Philips equipment
• Epic charting system
• Perform echocardiograms and cardiac sonography studies for adult acute care patients
• Navy and Seal Blue scrub colors required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Previous MUSC perm staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized
• Block scheduling may be accommodated pending manager approval based on unit needs
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, with approval based on facility needs
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
