Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Echocardiologist for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The Echo Technologist will operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, produce high-quality images, and support physicians with interpretation.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of experience, BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification, and any required state licensing. Travel position offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• BLS, ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification and state licensing as required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and operate ultrasound equipment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies.
• Perform quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Acquire quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms per physician expectations.
• Understand and report findings to reading physician.
• Process completed studies and maintain equipment.
