Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Echo Technologist for an immediate opening in Atlanta, GA. You will operate cardiac ultrasound equipment to generate accurate images for physician interpretation and care for patients undergoing echocardiograms.

This role requires 1 year of experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification. The position involves 40 hours weekly, 8-hour day shifts, and a 12-week assignment in a travel capacity.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of Echo experience.
• BLS and national certification (ARDMS/RDCS or CCI/RS) required.
• Stand/walk for long periods; knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Perform echocardiographic studies with quality Doppler and color exams.
• Acquire Stress Echo and Dobutamine images per physician standards.
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms as needed.
• Document findings and relay to interpreting physician.
• Maintain equipment and clean/disinfect per dept. procedures.
