Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Echo Technologist in Lynchburg, VA for a 13-week assignment. This role requires 1 year of echocardiography experience, BLS, and ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification. You will perform cardiac ultrasound studies, ensure image quality, and assist physicians with interpretation.

Responsibilities include patient education, Doppler exams, stress echo, and TEE as required, plus strict adherence to safety and record-keeping. McKesson PACS knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of echocardiography experience required.
• BLS certification required; ARDMS-RDCS or CCI-RS certification.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families regarding procedures.
• Demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies.
• Acquire quality Doppler and color Doppler exams.
• Perform stress echo and dobutamine imaging per standards.
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and report findings promptly.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment and report issues.
• Understand and use McKesson PACS system.
