Job summary

SPT Labtech Ltd in the San Diego area is seeking a Field Application Scientist to join the global FAS team, serving as the interface between sales, marketing and end-users for our liquid handling instruments.

You will travel extensively across the Southwest USA, with occasional trips to the East USA and our UK headquarters, while coordinating with colleagues across time zones to support customers and optimize assay workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with hands-on experience in liquid handling and automation.
• Experience with NGS methods and genomics workflows.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Run product demonstrations of SPT Labtech liquid handlers.
• Provide remote and in-person field support to customers.
• Develop and optimize automation protocols for client operations.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and territory teams.
• Maintain Salesforce records.
