Job summary

Correction Enterprises is seeking a Maintenance/Construction Technician III (S) to install, service, and maintain commercial dishwashers and chemical dispensing equipment for NC prisons and state facilities. Headquarters training for kitchen staff and offenders on proper equipment use is required, with travel in the northwestern region of North Carolina and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years of progressive experience in the trade.
• EPA certification as required by Title 40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain commercial dishwashers and chemical dispensing equipment.
• Travel in the northwestern region of North Carolina with occasional overnight stays.
• Train kitchen staff and offender operators on proper equipment use.
• Troubleshoot dish-detergent systems and respond to service requests.
• Inspect dishwashers for efficiency and maintain detailed service records; submit reports.
• Replace parts such as pumps, motors, timers, circuit boards, and piping components.
• Install and maintain chemical dispensers; knowledge of pumps, fittings, detection probes, and electrical connections.
