Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Associate Travel Demand Modeler to join our Advisory Services, Systems Analysis Group in the U.S. This role delivers state-of-the-art travel demand models, informs mobility investments, and works with a team of modelers, planners, and data scientists.

You will apply forecasting methods, integrate diverse datasets, and present results through compelling visualizations for diverse audiences, while growing professionally in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field as listed.
• 1–3 years in travel demand modeling or related work.
• Strong travel behavior knowledge and forecasting methods.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data processing and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Cube, TransCAD, EMME, or similar tools.
• Experience creating automated reports and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI).
• GIS skills (ArcGIS, QGIS) for spatial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain travel demand forecasting models for regional and statewide systems.
• Provide data-driven insights to inform policy and infrastructure investments.
• Integrate big data and surveys to improve models and methods.
• Collaborate with agencies nationwide on transportation projects.
• Translate model results into clear visualizations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to a collaborative team focused on mentorship and growth.
