Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a 13-week contract in York, PA. You will work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, performing scrubbing and circulating roles, setting up instruments, and ensuring accurate counts under protocol.

The role requires CVOR experience or clinical orientation in open-heart care, plus a CPR credential. Travel assignments include weekly pay and housing support through MedPro’s network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years of recent surgical technician experience.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum of eighteen months CVOR experience or completed clinical orientation for open-heart patient care.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation related to cardiac procedures.
• Experience with CABG and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, second circulator, and heart-holder roles in CVOR as needed.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, and performs counts accurately.
• Obtains specimens and hands them to the circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover and participates in on-call schedule.
