Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a contract assignment in Erie, PA. The role is a 26-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, featuring a 10-hour daytime shift and duties in the CVOR field.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or has 18+ months CVOR experience, with CPR certification and knowledge of cardiac procedures such as CABG. Travel benefits and housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent CVOR experience.
• Current CPR provider card.
• 18+ months CVOR experience or clinical orientation for open-heart care.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, 2nd circulating, and Heart Holder roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, and counts instruments/sutures.
• Obtain specimens and hand to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover and participates in on-call schedule.
