Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a contract in Akron, Ohio. The assignment requires 40 hours per week, with 10-hour days, and runs for 13 weeks. Start date: 10/12/2026. This travel position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced CVOR environment with diverse cardiac cases.

Qualified candidates will have surgical technology training or equivalent experience, CVOR background, and CPR certification. Benefits and relocation support are available through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent CVOR experience.
• Current CPR provider card.
• Minimum eighteen months CVOR experience or relevant orientation.
• Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation for cardiac procedures.
• Experience with CABG and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments per protocols.
• Scrubs, second circulator, and Heart Holder roles in CVOR.
• Picks supplies, sets up instruments, and counts instruments and sponges.
• Obtains specimens and hands off to circulating nurse.
• Facilitates room turnover time.
• Participates in department on-call schedule.
