Job summary

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of surgical tech experience for a cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant and robotics-focused hospital position. The role is primarily day shifts with 3x12 hour blocks and potential call requirements.

Travel-ready candidates are welcome, with full benefits and orientation support. Requirements include at least 2 years of surgical technology experience, BLS (ACLS preferred), licensure as applicable, and strong aseptic technique.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years surgical technology experience
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Experience in teaching/community hospital/Trauma Level I/II settings preferred
• Cardiovascular/ thoracic procedures familiarity (AAA repair, CABG, TAVR, EVAR) helpful

Responsibilities

• Support CVOR unit for cardiovascular, thoracic, transplant and robotics surgeries
• Day shift, 3x12 hours (6:30 AM–7:00 PM)
• Floating within facility and to Main OR as needed
• Perform technologist duties across cardiovascular, thoracic and transplant surgeries
• Assist with hybrid OR, general OR and trauma settings and endoscope reprocessing
