Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma teaching hospital. Certification NBSTSA or NCCT and 1 year CVOR experience are required.

The role supports a high-volume cardiac and vascular OR setting with flexible day shifts, on-call expectations, and travel accommodations. Scrubs are provided by the facility and local licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year CVOR experience required.
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• CVOR unit with 6 ORs (4 standard, 1 hybrid, 1 PV room).
• Cardiac surgery cases: CABG, AVR/MVR, TAVR, LVAD, transplant.
• Vascular cases: open and endovascular AAA, bypass, endarterectomy.
• Floating within hospital or to nearby affiliate as needed.
• Potential travel as first-time traveler welcome.
• On-call up to 2 weekends/month, up to 2 weekdays, holidays as needed.
