Job summary

Ascension Premiere Staffing is seeking a Travel RN for Surgical Services across local and national assignments. The role supports open-heart surgeries, CPB setups, and CVOR technology usage at multiple Ascension acute care hospitals. Requires RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year of acute care experience.

Travel and day shifts, 40 hours weekly, with benefits and relocation support as needed. Competitive weekly gross pay up to $3,465, with a comprehensive benefits package, and pro-rated

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with compact RN license or state RN license for travel assignment
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program
• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Scrub or circulate for open-heart cases including CABG, valve replacements, aortic dissections, and heart transplants
• Maintain aseptic technique and manage complex sterile setups for CPB procedures
• Operate CVOR technology such as cell savers and specialized sutures
• Support rapid-response interventions for massive hemorrhage or emergency cannulation during intraoperative cardiac arrest
