Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring open-heart surgery experience and prior travel assignment history.

The role features day shift, 4x10 hours, with 2 weekday calls and 2 weekend calls in a 6-week period. You must hold an active MD state or compact RN license, BLS certification, and CVOR experience of at least two years; ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (MD state license or compact) required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required, within the last 7 years.
• Open-heart surgery OR experience required.
• Must be able to scrub for cardiovascular procedures.
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment.
• Two supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience within the previous 3 years.
• Driver's license copy required at time of consideration for local status determination.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties for vascular, cardiovascular, and thoracic procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD placement, aortic aneurysm repair, carotid procedures, and thoracic surgeries such as VATS and thoracotomy.
• Scrub for cardiovascular procedures and support the CVOR team during surgeries.
• Attend to the schedule and on-call requirements as defined (4x10 hour days with specific call rotations).
