Job summary

Ascension is seeking travel nurses to act as Circulator or Scrub Nurse across multiple surgical specialties. This role offers local and national travel with 36-40 hours per week and shifts across various facilities.

You will maintain aseptic technique, lead Time-Out protocols, and ensure patient safety while responding to intraoperative crises. Requires RN diploma, BLS, and a compact or state RN license for travel.

Qualifications

• RN with diploma required.
• BLS within 1 month of hire/transfer date.
• Compact RN license or state RN license for travel location before start.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Circulator or Scrub Nurse across cardiac, ortho, trauma surgery.
• Maintain aseptic technique and oversee surgical counts.
• Lead Time-Out protocols and correct patient positioning to prevent injuries.
• Respond to intraoperative crises (e.g., malignant hyperthermia, massive hemorrhage, cardiac arrest).
