Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Travel CVOR Surgical RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity cardiovascular OR. The role requires an active RN license and current BLS/ACLS, with cardiovascular open-heart experience preferred.

You will join a surgical team for a 40-hour week, in a full-time travel contract. The CVOR RN will provide perioperative nursing care, assist with procedures, maintain sterile technique, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perfusionists to

Qualifications

Active RN license in the applicable state.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Cardiovascular/open-heart surgical experience preferred.
Strong perioperative nursing and sterile technique knowledge.
Ability to work in a fast-paced travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular and surgical patients.
Prepare patients for cardiovascular procedures.
Assist with OR preparation, equipment, supplies, and instrumentation.
Maintain sterile technique and infection-prevention standards.
Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists and the surgical team.
Monitor patients and respond quickly to changes in clinical condition.
Support patient positioning, surgical preparation, and intraoperative safety.
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to surgical protocols.
Promote a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Participate in preoperative and postoperative care as required.
