Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a CVOR travel nurse in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires 1 year of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS, and involves circulating for complex cardiothoracic surgeries, with 8-hour days and 40 hours per week.

The CVOR RN will provide professional care, support a team, and ensure aseptic technique while coordinating with physicians and staff in a fast-paced travel assignment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of acute care experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional CVOR nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Circulate for cardiothoracic surgeries and assist physicians and staff.
• Monitor patient status before, during and after procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterile environment in the OR.
• Coordinate operating room activities and equipment availability.
• Handle specimens properly and ensure accurate documentation.
