Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Start date is 10/12/2026 with a 40-hour workweek, days shift, and travel employment terms.

The CVOR RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care within the CVOR setting, collaborating with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role requires one year of CVOR experience and an active RN license, with BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVOR RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) certification.
• ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification preferred.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to CVOR patients.
• Assist in monitoring and supporting patients during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure sterility and equipment readiness.
• Position patients safely and assist with draping and patient handoffs.
• Support postoperative care coordination and handoff to recovery.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
