Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a CVOR travel nurse RN in Phoenix, AZ. This 13-week travel assignment requires 40 hours weekly, with 10-hour day shifts. ACLS and BLS are required, with 2 years of acute care experience.

The CVOR RN will circulate for cardiothoracic surgeries and support a team of physicians and staff. Responsibilities include patient assessment, perioperative care, medication administration and aseptic technique, ensuring OR sterility and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience as RN.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and evaluate nursing care pre/intra/post surgical procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and monitor sterile environment.
