Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of trauma and stroke imaging experience for a 13-week assignment in the Washington, DC area. The position features 12-hour shifts, travel benefits, and relocation support.

Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree or equivalent, ARRT and BLS, Cerner experience, and a state license if applicable. Relocation within 50 miles of the facility is required and local candidates are not considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with trauma and stroke imaging required.
• BLS and ARRT certification required.
• Current State/District license required (if applicable).
• Cerner experience required.

Responsibilities

• 12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors
• Review physician orders and obtain clinical data to produce high-quality radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure
• Assist physicians during procedures including room preparation, supplies, contrast reactions, and codes
• Schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes
• Must live within 50 miles of the facility
• Does not accept local candidates

• Associate's Degree or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program required
• BLS and ARRT certification required

• Ability to analyze body habitus and adjust technical factors and positioning accordingly
