Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in a Level 3 trauma acute care hospital. The role requires 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT certification in CT and Radiography, with CA fluoroscopy certification and a CA license as applicable.

The candidate will work in a fast-paced Diagnostic Radiology department, covering OR, ER, inpatient and outpatient CT patients using Cerner EMR, Philips iPatient 64, and a Big Bore 16 CT scanner.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• ARRT Radiography certification required.
• Fluoroscopy certification through CA required.
• CT experience for Rad Tech II level technologists.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department at a Level 3 trauma facility.
• Serves OR, ER, inpatient and outpatient CT patients.
• Uses Cerner EMR with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT scanners.
• 10-hour night shifts, every other weekend.
• 40 hours per week guaranteed.
• 1–2 shifts of floor-specific orientation provided.
• On-call requirements discussed during interview.
• Radiologist in house until 6 PM, then on-call.

• Fluoroscopy certification required through the state of CA


• Rad Tech II level technologists must have CT experience


• License required if applicable
