Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist with 1+ year of CT experience and Trauma Level II background for a night shift position in Colorado. Staff will perform CT and X-ray exams across adult and pediatric populations.

The role requires ARRT CT and radiography certifications, BLS, and a license if applicable. Shifts are 3x12 hours with weekend and on-call duties. EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT, ARRT(R), and BLS (AHA) certifications required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required.
• Trauma Level II experience required.
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• Experience performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging with/without contrast.
• Skilled in isolation precautions, PPE and contrast media preparation/administration.
• Age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations.
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and X-ray exams overnight.
• Supports adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients including trauma/stroke cases.
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts (18:00-06:30).
• Weekend shifts required.
• Call required, split among staff.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and Trauma Level II experience for a night shift assignment supporting both CT and X-ray services.

Requirements

• ARRT(CT), ARRT(R), and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• Must be comfortable placing peripheral IVs
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience performing abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging, with and without contrast
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE and contrast media preparation/administration
• Age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met

Responsibilities

• Performs both CT and X-ray exams overnight
• Supports adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations, including trauma/stroke cases
• 3x12 hour night shifts, various days of the week, 18:00-06:30
• Weekend shifts required
• Call required, split amongst all staff
• May float between service lines and to sister facilities per unit needs
• Uses GE and Siemens CT/X-ray equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Perform CT and X-ray imaging across adult acute care and outpatient settings
• Gray scrubs required
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during certain weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose this during application
• Travelers who complete a full year on assignment may not be rebooked for at least one year
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 75 miles of the facility
