Job summary

American Traveler in Philadelphia is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years CT experience including Emergency Department and Level I trauma imaging. This 13-week travel assignment requires night shifts 6:00 PM to 8:30 AM, 3x12 hours, with weekend coverage.

You will operate Philips CT scanners, perform contrast-enhanced studies across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head and neck, support trauma imaging, and adhere to radiation safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CT Tech experience.
• Emergency Department and Level I trauma imaging experience.
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with contrast imaging with and without contrast.
• Vascular CTA, brain perfusion and vascular CTA experience preferred.
• Cervical, lumbar and thoracic spine imaging experience.
• Contrast media preparation and administration experience.
• Radiation safety and peripheral IV insertion experience.
• Philips CT scanner equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• CT Tech position supporting pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Supports CT imaging needs for Emergency Department and Level I trauma populations.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
• Every weekend shift required.
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating required within scope.
• 13-week assignment with predetermined schedule.
• Uses Philips CT scanner and Centricity RIS-IC charting system.
• Perform CT imaging across abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck and spine with/without contrast.
• Conduct brain perfusion and vascular CTA studies.
• Support trauma imaging including musculoskeletal trauma and trauma head studies.
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Prepare and administer contrast media following radiation safety guidelines.
• Charcoal grey scrub color required.
