Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience who can perform both CT and X-ray procedures for adult patients in acute care and outpatient settings.

The role requires ARRT (CT) and BLS certification, current license if applicable, and experience with contrast media. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts (Tue-Fri, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM) on a 13-week assignment with no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• 2 years CT experience
• License required if applicable
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Isolation precautions/PPE knowledge required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Able to work with patients across all age groups from neonate to older adult

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging in adult acute care and outpatient settings.
• Cross-train CT and X-Ray procedures.
• Operative equipment includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS.
• Perform abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies with and without contrast.
• Work 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday, 9:00 AM-7:00 PM.
• Thirteen-week assignment with no floating or on-call requirements.
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Travelers welcome; local candidates within 50 miles may be offered a differentiated rate.
