Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience to work in a radiology department operating dual Canon 640-slice scanners. The role requires BLS and ARRT certification, with state licensure as applicable, and supports local travel options.

Typical shifts are 10 hours, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for travel and orientation upon hiring. Cerner EMR familiarity is a plus, and scrubs of any color are permitted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
• Current BLS and ARRT certification required.
• State license required if applicable.
• Scrubs of any color permitted.

Responsibilities

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Works in the CT Scan unit of the Radiology department.
• Utilizes two identical Canon 640-slice CT scanners.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.
• May be required to float to nearby facility locations.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Local candidates accepted within 50 miles at the local rate.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• Returning staff who previously worked as permanent employees may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service.
• 3 professional references required once committed, with at least 2 from leadership.
