Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT imaging experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a night shift assignment in Wisconsin. A WI Radiographer license is required if applicable, with AHA BLS certification and Epic EMR experience valued.

You will work in a community hospital/trauma center environment, performing a wide range of CT imaging procedures across departments, including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, chest, and CT angiography.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required.
• WI Radiographer license required if applicable.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred.
• Experience with isolation precautions, PPE, contrast media administration, radiation safety, IV starts, and venipuncture.
• Epic charting system experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging in adult acute care, outpatient, ED and ICU settings.
• Image abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest and CT angiography.
• Utilize GE equipment and PACS for image acquisition and post-processing.
• Maintain Epic EMR documentation and workflow.
• Night shift: 4x10 hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, 21:30–07:30; no call.
• Floating as needed within scope of CT services.
• Maintain high standards for radiation safety and patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience
• Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
• WI Radiographer license required if applicable
• ARRT (R) and (CT) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Community hospital experience required
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Epic charting system experience required

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, and ICU settings
• Performs CT imaging including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine/musculoskeletal, chest, and special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and CT angiography
• Uses GE equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• Night shift, 4x10 hour shifts, 7 on/7 off, 21:30-07:30
• No call requirement
• Floating required as needed
• Perform diagnostic CT imaging across multiple specialties including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, chest, and cardiac studies
• Utilize advanced image display and post-processing techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Work within a Level I/II trauma center environment
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
