Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position in Covington, GA. The role requires 1+ year of CT experience and ARRT CT or ARRT R certification, with BLS and license if applicable.

Responsibilities include working in a hospital-based CT unit during night hours, floating as needed, and adhering to gel-pack workflows. Exposure to PACS, Epic, and Siemens equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with abdomen/pelvis CT with/without contrast.
• Experience with chest and head/neck CT with/without contrast.
• Experience with trauma imaging (cervical to thoracic to MSK).
• Experience with contrast media preparation and IV starts preferred.
• Fuji/SIEMENS equipment familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate hospital-based CT scan unit.
• Night shift: 16:30–03:00, 4x10s.
• Float within facility as needed.
• No call, some major holidays required.
• Work in adult acute care, outpatient, ED, and ICU.
• Use PACS; Epic charting experience preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT CT or ARRT R certification required, BLS required
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills in abdomen and pelvis CT, with and without contrast
• Experience with chest and head/neck CT, with and without contrast
• Experience with cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging preferred
• Experience with aspirations, biopsies, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and vascular CTA preferred
• Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Peripheral IV starts preferred
• FUJI equipment experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Night shift, 4x10 hours, 16:30-03:00
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• No call requirement, but 1 holiday required during contract
• First-time travelers accepted
• Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU
• Uses PACS and Siemens equipment
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• One major holiday during the assignment requires the traveler to work it, two major holidays require working both, and three major holidays require working two of them
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract, which must be finalized at time of submission
• No RTO can be requested during orientation week
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Scrub or dress code details not specified, but professional presentation expected
• Full compliance required to start on time; delays may push start back by 2 weeks due to biweekly orientation scheduling
