Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a Level 2 trauma center. The role requires 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT-CT certification, with BLS as well as license where required.

Responsibilities include performing trauma and routine CT exams across all ages using Siemens scanners and a 12-hour night shift pattern (Thurs/Fri/Sat), with 36 hours guaranteed weekly and holiday requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT specialty.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Proficiency operating computerized tomography equipment across all patient age groups.

Responsibilities

• CT Scan department in Level 2 trauma center.
• Performs trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams.
• Treats neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.
• Uses Siemens CT scanners.
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Thu/Fri/Sat).
• 36 guaranteed hours per week.
• Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for a wide range of patient types and clinical scenarios.
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible.
• Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break in service.
• RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after offer.
